The Puppet Master

William Rhode 1981 (Saskatoon Saskatchewan)

PUPPET MASTER by:William Rhode

Let me put it to you this way
100% the truth my life on display
so close your mouth, and open your ears
were inbarking on a journey of the last 37 years

Once upon a time
BLA BLA BLA BLA
More like one big joke on me
HA HA HA
You see nothing in my life
has ever been easy
every thing I loved was
just there to tease me
Im sorry if I sound a little hypricritacly
but i always loose do to a technecality

You see the strings that move me
are tied to tight
PUP[PET MASTER controls me
no matter how hard i fight
I always work my ass of to fight for what is mine
only to enjoy it momentarily time after time

When I was just a young man WILLAM RHODE the 3rd
I thought i was bound for GREATNESS
but im just a lost sheep in the herd
It was much to depressing
to keep on loosing
only PUPPET MASTER won
to him it was AMUSING

You see time after time i just seemed to fail
and thats when DRUGS consumed me and I started to flail
Thats when it happend i joined the DARK SIDE
no longer a failure in life
cause i had already died
thats when my life started to get easy
cause every thing i loved no longer there to tease me
and the further i went down the rabbit hole
the closer satan got to STEALLING MY SOLE

i KNEW the path that i had chosen
was not the right one
I was super cooked
you could say very well done
and by the grace of GOD
he brought it to a stop
that was the morning i
ran over a cop
ya i got arresated and tossed into the jails
that was the day that i ENDED the
FLAIL OF ALL FLAILS

Now when j fight for what is mine
I will hold on and cherish it till the end of Time
AND now im sitting here
in DELTA 2 im liveing my best life
yes this is true
I know it might sound kinda clesha
but i have seen the light GOD has shown me the way
in here i stasnd tall along side my brothers
one day to be ruinited along with our mothers
and i know she will be so PROUD to see
WILLIAM RHODE the 3rd fullfill
his DESTENY

William Rhode

I was born March 30th 1981. I'm a 3rd generation bricklayer and I started work at a very young age. I was good in school but I wasn't interested in it and my grades reflected my ambition. I became addicted to drugs at a young age right up till I turned 40 I'm sober now and finally enjoying life. I wrote poems for a few years in jail and created a book of poems I call Poetic justice. more…
