Tears of War

When an insane person yearns for conquest
To restore what one country was before
The land shall be covered in tears and gore
While the defensive are forced to resist
Scattered families found no place to rest
People sang songs for morale and restore
Governments spoke out their words of deplore
While the people try to survive their best
Soldiers hold weapons as they were trained
WHile monsters rumbled the ground to bring slaught
From building to building the soldiers hid
To shelter to bunkers the army fought
Women and children in silence they pained
Waiting for the terror that will be brought
