Song of love

In your eyes promises I see
Promises which are an endless sea
Your eyes are filled with tears
Tears of love and compassion
To me, undying is your affection
What is love I have seen
My hesitant mind you have made keen
I am fed up with meaningless songs
Songs meant to be love songs
Composed from the mind not the soul,
But you, my rose you never failed
The hidden to me you've unveiled
Now I understand I'm in love
And your wishes I put above.

In my dream as my mum in eyes
I see you with joyous twinkling eyes
Singing a lullaby I hear you with my ears
"Don't cry, sleep darling," allying my fears
Your hand  taps my back with tenderness
In my vision I feel sweetness
I see a gracious queen
Holding a scepter clean
With a bouquet of daisies and grapes
Your scintillating eyes tearing me with love
So gentle you look like a dove
You have driven me crazy
My limbs you have rendered lazy.
Will you marry me baby?
