Mother

Mom was who talked me thru my pain.
Her voice the one to soothe it away.

Each day without her on the mortal plane.
Causes my heart immeasurable pain.

Her laughter was filled with poise and grace.
The laugh lines of life taking their space.

Each treasured memory a sacred space.
I smile at the mirror so I can once again see her face.
