in my mind

is it hot in here or is it just me?
the world is spinning, losing my vision, can’t see.
hands are shaking and palms are wet
feeling scared but i have no regret
i get up to leave, and my temp changes cold
self-diagnosing, how can i be so bold?
walking the halls, wishing the dizzy away.
the feeling passes and i carry on with my day.

this poem is about what a panic attack feels like mid-day and how when you’re in your mind about it, you feel crazy.
