I wonder”

“I wonder” 2009 (Edinburgh,Tx)

Each night I wonder about you.
I wonder if you see yourself the way I see you,
I wonder if you can just look at me and stare in awe.
I wonder if you think about me at night before going to bed,
I wonder if you go through your day thinking about me,
I wonder if you love my flaws
I wonder if you look at me and see yourself being with me.
I wonder if you have ever thought about telling me how you feel
I wonder if you feel the same way how I feel about you
I wonder if you look at me across the room and admire me
I wonder if you have ever pictured us in a field of flowers having a picnic
I wonder if you ever wanted to just come up to me and say “I love you.”
I wonder if you wanted to hug me so badly but was afraid
I wonder if you wished we’d talk more
I wonder if YOU like me as much as I do.
