Greece

Majestic Mountains

Swimming streams

Oh, running coastlines

Water's hittin' me

Morning Sun

Here comes Crete

Washing grains

To my feet

Ain't no rain

Till it's night

Oh that sun

Blinding light

Sandy shores

Growing feats

Native beasts

All galore

No greed here

Just ambition

High desires

All wishin'

Ever curious

Just listen

Grazing on the grass

Climbing on trees

Oh blowing wind

Ever felt so free

Swinging on vines

Not full of me

Floating fish

In the water

bubbly rivers

Steaming falls

I gave nature

My all

Dolphin chatter

Heard in the water

Communication

Filled with clutter

Little babies

With their mothers

Some left alone

Just to suffer

Thinking of choices

What should I do

Only one good option

That's best for you

Out on the edge of Greece

Walking on coastlines

Now I'm one with peace

Living in paradise

Swimming in the ocean

Staying afloat

No boat

Don't gloat

Stay close

To the open waters

Setting sun, soon have rose

People walking on the streets

Oh, the awful memories

Society falls beneath

Nothing but stand on two feet

Remember

What happened here

Crowded, beating streets

Innocent running in fear

The tidal waves, change my face

Blue to red,

we will end

Silent, but visual

Fiery flames, open fires

Destroyed structures, Loss of lives

Humanity pulverized

People walking on the streets

Quiet as it will ever be

Just another sunny day

We people, live to decay

Majestic Mountains

Swimming Streams

Oh, running coastlines

Water's hitting me

Majestic Mountains

Swimming streams

Oh, running coastlines

Water's hitting me

Waving hello

Just to say goodbye

Leave me all alone

Watching as I cry

End of the road gets closer

Ocean fades 'fore my eye

Over here the sun don't shine

Blue to red goes the sky

Gray clouds fly right by

My own bed that I lie

In which I will cry

Couldn't say I had tried

All due to my

War in myself

I couldn't forget the shore

From my home far away

Take me aboard

And start sail today

Find new land

Across the sea

But in the end

It's only glee

Shining sun

Right in my eye

Make my own fun

As shapes fly by

Say hello

To newfound waters

Years from now it'll grow

By my side like a brother

Oh those tides I'll miss

When the memories pass

All forgotten bliss

Taken away, by the blue mass

Oh how I adore

The sandy bright shores

As I lay there and cry

I know I have to say goodbye

To which brought me here

Goodbye my little Greece

Majestic Mountains

Swimming streams

Oh running coastlines

Water's hittin' me

Sun's a friend

Full of ambition

Ride the end

Of bad decisions

Watch it fall

After it had risen

Floating fish

In the water

bubbly rivers

Steaming falls

I gave nature

My all

About this poem

I wrote this poem because I had a friend who was obsessed with Greece, so I wrote a poem for him and this is mainly about nature and society.
