Bi Par of Sin

Bi Part Of Sin
By: Aryn Celeste Lawless

(The Believers Baptism)
irrevocable havoc
knees bent eyes to the sky
rivers of mercy cloaked in madness
in need of an intervention
a reinvention
something of less convention
two worlds apart
20,000 restarts
the construction derived from the destruction
of human faith
it's all for name's sake
the proclamation of self
boxed up neatly sitting on a shelf
too meticulous to be this insane
but oh what a name
the repetitious accounts of the letters strung together
slightly elevate the octave of the fingers to the string
the back-and-forth mental distortion
cleverly disguised and wrapped in silk yet called a melody
self bought
self-taught
no other shoe to drop
inner demons and battles fought
some lions tamed
others roam free
immersed in flaming water for a clear line
of communication
overly anxious hesitation
inspiration lost yet retaught
shields of gleaming silver
the memorization of the mesmerization
of the glowing effects
anti-conformist
nonsocial
ambient lighting glowing in the distance
dangling karats and teasing glances
the critical situation at hand
footprints and holes stung about in the sand
faces turn to blank canvas
painting murals of beauty within
inner desires designed and brought to life
twisted tongues of lost words and misconceptions
the eyes that lit red and stopped the train in its tracks
lost doing dances with your own mind
9 spirals of hell and good intentions
stuck in meaningless pursuit of the perfect phrase a binding spell
a cure-all
instead leaps jumps and falls
swimming across oceans
searching for a biblical equation
while looking for the perfect meditation
the unique technique
what I did was add nails to the coffin buried empty and called it pandora
leaving one gap for wings to unearth
repatacious rebirth
hunting the main source
the forgotten tales of redemption
saved from damnation
yet signed on for reincarnation
placing lost and broken puzzle pieces at their feet
all that's left are the edges
sharp corners
looking to the informers
the conformers
the transformers
trying not to nay at the sayers
open-minded willingness
alternative to the medication on a screen
what I thought were miracles left unseen
where beautiful views peaceful and serene
with a green thumb to plant the seed
too late to unread
the pages of the kindling
that started the blaze
verbs and adjectives dance in rhythm
the proper noun is what was vital
distracted by the reactions
notes played as she ran her fingers through her hair
nervous ticks and tell tale signs
divided between the creation and the equation
fulcrum points needed
to loosen the knots that bind self
it's not a bondage of the body
its the bondage of the mind
limiting the capacity
crawl from the comfort zone
wrapped myself in insecurities
for the world to see
fear head-on was the only way to break the chain
dive into the strife and multiple fist fights with the objects that do not hit back
unhinge the door to the room where it all resides
shatter the windows and rattle walls
give new meaning to the big bang
the waves of fluttering emotion and rapid heartbeats
felt from the core of the soul to the solar plex
its like lightening that enters from the tips of your toes
hands up and cuffed
by a simple thought made so complex
tracing the outline
the sweet taste of mind numbing freedom
left mind blown
at a loss for words
with a million particles flying at once
taped confessions lost in translation
release the burden in an orgasmic fashion
then post about the passion
random thoughts from my head
written in a fashion that makes no sense
yet does it really exist?
