The Broke Heart

To the broke heart,
You are owed and true.
As it fell apart,
Tried to give it to you.

Oh this broke heart,
All tattered and torn.
As it flew like a dart,
Hit its target all adorn.

And this broke heart,
Though it was mended before.
Watched it break apart,
As it fell to the floor.

As I picked it up,
Put it back in its place.
That smile so pure,
Came back to that face.

‘Cause this broke heart,
Does not feel so broke any longer.
Touched by god’s grace,
It now feels even stronger…
