These Celtic Isles

I am a man of Independent thought
Whose opinion's brought if opinion's sought
Thu asked, "Should Scotland Independent be ?"
I replied, Let's embrace Democracy
And reject Westminster's vile, evil,  vice
That corrupt Democratic Antichrist
That pursues selfish Imperial pelth
By corrupting  Democracy itself.
So, let's throw off our shackles of self doubt
And free ourselves from fear fanned by feigned friends
And smile at those who smirk at those who spout
The tired old Union lies that truth defiles
And release our renowned resourcefulness
In this Celtic Land in these Celtic Isles.

About this poem

This is to show Democracy is stifled in Scotland and we need to rejoin Europe as an Independent nation.
