IN HIM

   When I wake up, I rise up outta bed,
my saviour's loving thoughts inside my head.
  For He is the starting point of each day for me,
when I rise, His blessings I choose to see
  When I seek Him in the morning, He is always there,
His love, Grace and comfort with me He does share.
  As I seek to find the truth, He show's me the way,
how beautiful it is to wake with my Jesus every day.
  For when I seek His Face, when I first awake,
then in His Spirit my first steps I take.
  He then is with me for the rest of the day,
as He lead's then I can follow Him all the way.
  All day long, all day strong, with Him by my side,
walking and talking with Him, my safe place to abide.
  Then at night when I lay down to sleep,
I know my heart is in His hands, my life he will keep.
  My prayer's and word's to Him sink into my heart,
and then when I wake up, I know just where to start.
  Right where I left my Lord, when I fell asleep,
His thought's, feeling's and emotion's for me He doth keep.
   Oh the thing's he show's me, the truth's there within,
so each morning as I wake I know just where to begin...
