Calvinism On Carm

the light had gone out of
the words on the page
and though people listened
they did not stay

the message not simple,
the words refrained
and reading too many of them
made them feel in pain

the light had gone out of
the words on the page
all visitors mocked
and their names rearranged

and though some would say things
it forever was knew
no one could figure out
what exactly to say to you

for the light had gone out
of the words on the page
and the drudgery extended
to millennia day

where still they were chanting
always the same
for no one knew how
that intellect to tame

it was always and always
and always the same
looking at this picture
would not get one 'saved'

maybe waylaid for over a year
maybe holed up in here
saying things we'll regret
when God reveals more...

to us yet.  but oh what then?
oh what then but this
was not kenned, was not known
was not penned, and so it went

and it stayed on repeat
every day.  the light had gone out
of the heart of the words
a message here never heard
