Photo Filters

Tina, what do you see,
Behind that camera lens, what sets you free?
Is it the filters that make your heart sing,
Or the picture-perfect moment it can bring?

You chase the light, you chase the scene,
Wanting to capture everything.
Every angle and every pose,
To keep up with trends and Instagram goals.

But what of the person behind the screen,
The one who smiles when the cameras clean?
Do filters make them more complete,
Or do they mask the truth we seek?

Beauty, oh beauty, such a tricky thing,
To want it all yet forget our being.
We search for glamour, for that perfect shot,
But lose ourselves in the process, let's not forget.

Next time you snap, next time you filter,
Ask yourself, what's the true picture?
For beauty is more than just skin deep,
It's the essence of our soul, that we should keep.

Tina has never truly felt as pretty
As she did before she discovered photo filters.
