In the pocket of your heart

Maria Ershova 1976 (Nizhny Novgorod)

When you feel again not safe
And this life becomes so hard,
How many melodies you have
In the pocket of your heat?

When the crescent shines so lonely
In the lonliness of the night,
When you feel like you have no home,
Where that sun that will bring the light?

Only heart that can explain it,
Give a chance it to be your guide,
On this lovely and little planet
There's no place for you to hide!

Sing your song of being living
As you want it and out loud,
Hear the sound of every feeling:
Joy or sorrow - what you're about!

When you feel again not safe
And this life becomes so hard,
How many melodies you have
In the pocket of your heat?

Maria Ershova

Poet-artist-singer, I write poems since being a child. Many of them are about nature and about exploration of our inner self, about connection of everything. I see alive images everywhere and draw portraits. I draw images with the words too. This is how I sing life. The main message of my art is "We are nature, we are the one". I write poems and songs in Russian and English languages. I love to unite languages as well as everything else in life. Thanks. more…
