Black Widow

Who is this looking back at me
I am not myself or who I ever envisioned to be
Why is it this hard after so many years
And more days than others I still drop tears
Nothing is the same since you’ve been called home
And now I’m left on this planet all alone
I wasn’t ready and there’s nothing I can do
But at the end of the day I just want you
So much has changed and I hate that about life
But regardless if anything I will remain your wife
There is a constant battle between my head and my heart
I don’t like this pain of us being apart
Look at the good side you’re out of your pain
But with you being gone can I possibly stay sane
You were more than a friend and a lover indeed
Just give me a sign you take the lead
Show me that this is how it’s truly supposed to be
I’ll love you forever and wish you were here with me
