Appreciation

If you could see the light of day
The sunrise from the seaside bay,
If you could watch the stars at night
Light the darkest sky so bright.

If you could hear a pin that falls
The howling sound a Wolf's home call,
A acorn drop in autumn leaves
The crashing of the ocean breeze

These things we take for granted each day
But what if those senses were taken away
Do you think of those who live this way
How they wish, wonder or often pray
That this was them each single day
To feel, touch,
see, hear, or say
What we do without thought, ill add If I may.

How precious these things seem to be
when highlighted to you or me
How natural we do these things subconsciously
But not for all you see.
How I appreciate what I have for free
My courage & strength inside of me
Makes me what you see
I give strength to those less fortunate then me
Those who struggle endlessly.
If I'm lucky to lighten their hearts
To make them smile
is a fantastic start
To give some hope
I really do care,
I let them know I noticed them there.
I didn't ignore them or walk straight past
I saw them there & helped them fast.

I lent my hand to those in need
I gave not took like some with greed.
I hope I made you truly see me
when you were sad,
I am kind  caring, were not all bad.
