One day

Diabolical Rose 1988 (USA)

Free verse
One day I'll find the me I once was.
The me that smiled a true smile,
Not a mask to fool others.
The me that enjoyed life,
Not the one that forces to rise every day.
The me that had self love,
Now just full of self hate.
Slowly on this path I'll find that me again.
Until then I shall keep going,
Fighting to take every step,
Just to find me again...one day.
