You filled me with passion,
And a lie.
 Left me here stunned,
Asking why?

 The years have come
And gone.
 I felt, by your side,
That is where I belong.

 I feel so hopeless,
Deep inside.
 No where to run,
Nowhere to hide.

 We made an odd couple,
I believed you cared.
 You calmed the part of me,
That is scared.

 It gets lonely here,
In the unknown.
 I was just another,
Steppingstone.

 Fear and trauma,
Memories of the past.
 It was not love,
If it doesn't last.

 My silence screams,
Aloud.
 No sunshine,
        Gray with clouds.

 My thoughts are heavy,
I stare into space.
 I can still remember;
        The way you taste.
