I see no reason to sleep


why have I spoken?
when night cascades around me
the wings of sorrow drenching me in hot sweat
feeling vulnerable
longing to be soothed by you
the queen of my remorse
a creature custom made to reach perfection
like a white cat with a few black spots
purring in the twilight
on the fence between dreaming and awakening
the morning beckons now
with fruitless
tears...
