MY NEXT 50 YEARS

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

I have been writing my words from the time that I was born. It was not until I died that I learned that not every sentence that feels the lines needs to be dark. Now I am slowly filling them with the love, light, and wisdom that is now mine.

I found what was meant for me when I was no longer looking for the answers but the questions I collected over my lifetimes. I signed up for this trip but lost the blueprint, so I needed to come up with my map to chart and change my direction, not my way of getting where I needed to go. Yes, I am getting here, and the journey has been fast-moving but still slow.

I just opened my eyes like a newborn baby, and I am turning 50 soon, and I ask myself, since I am no longer lost in a deep sleep, how are my next 50 years going to creep up on me, and what are they planning to show my soul is it something that I am going to want to see?
