Palace of Dreams.

It was a palace made of silver,
With a fine golden Courtyard,
Where the full moon was spraying
With its caress of love and charm,

There was no sorrow, no pain,
At my such a beautiful residence,
My beloved seemed to gain,
Smiling and laughing sense,

A couple of swans in the lake,
Playing with beak gracefully,
She, too, wished to join and shake,
Their hyper roaming, hopefully,

The nightingale sang sweetly,
From the garden nearby,
She, too, sang along so sweetly,
And made me feel to fly high,

I wanted to kiss her with love,
She pointed out a sitting dove,
And ran away, showing thumb,
I was stunned and felt numb,

With a stagger, my sleep broken,
Alas! Why a Lovely dream broken,
I was feeling fresh and happy,
For such a dream, lovely dream,
That I never ever happened to see,
But always willing to see again,
Again and again and again....

About this poem

Sometimes we happen to see such a dream that makes a home in our heart and becomes unforgettable.
