Scars of Strength: My Journey of Imperfections

I am flawed, imperfect, and incomplete,
My imperfections, evident to all,
My faults and follies plain for all to see,
And yet, I do not cower or stall.
I take ownership of my mistakes,
And try to fix them with all my strength.

My love is true, it's genuine and strong,
I give it freely, with all my heart,
But sometimes, it can go very wrong,
And tear the very thing that we start.
I try to learn from my mistakes,
And be better, for my love's sake.

My jealousy is not without reason,
I'm scared of losing what I hold dear,
But sometimes, it can lead to treason,
And hurt the ones I hold most near.
I try to keep my jealousy in check,
And be content with what I get.

My temper flares up at times,
And I start fights without a reason,
But I try to make amends and climb,
Up from the depths of such a season.
I try to control my anger and rage,
And make amends to turn the page.

I'm not perfect, that much is true,
But I'm trying, with all my heart,
To be better, to start anew,
To be the best that I can impart.
For when I love, I love with all my might,
And try to make everything right.

I may not be flawless, but I have my strengths,
And three things I hold true to my core,
I don't play games, for that's not how love extends,
I give my all, and I choose you more.
For when I love, it's a fierce devotion,
A deep-seated bond, without commotion.

My imperfections may make me stumble,
But I don't let them hold me down,
I rise up, I fight, I never crumble,
I wear my scars, like a warrior's crown.
For each mistake, a lesson to be learned,
For each challenge, a new path to be earned.

Life is a journey, full of twists and turns,
And I may not know where it will lead,
But I'll keep moving forward, as my heart yearns,
And to my convictions, I will heed.
For when I love, I love with all my soul,
And I'll never stop, until I'm whole.

So, though I'm not perfect, that's plain to see,
I'll keep striving to be the best I can,
For when I love, it's pure and true, you'll agree,
And I'll always be there, as your biggest fan.
For when I choose you, it's only you,
And my love will always remain steadfast and true.
