Commotion

Storms blow through the land
Disturbing the trees and sand
Moving all that was pristine
Wiping away what once was a dream
The water roars with waves so high
Leaving the color with a blue and green dye
It stains the sand, from beige to brown
Making it unsettled ground
This change in weather grows
As the wind moves and blows
Where oh where is the sun
So this storm will all be done
The hands of God are in motion
Making all this commotion
The power is there to send love
Across the land like the wings of a dove
The skies are filled with black and grey
While the world continues to pray
The lightning crashes and the thunder roars As if God is angry
With the struggle of our wars.
