My Soul Chose Yours : Rhythmic Flow of Everlasting Love
My soul chose yours in days of old,
When time was young and love untold,
In realms where spirits roam and play,
Before we met in mortal sway,
Our souls entwined in cosmic hold,
And vowed to meet in life’s unfold.
In every life we’ve chanced to live,
Our souls would search, our hearts would sieve,
For fragments of a love once shared,
In every moment, everywhere,
Our hearts would feel the tug and pull,
Of a love that can’t be controlled.
In every lifetime, we’d be drawn,
To each other, like the break of dawn,
Our souls would sing in perfect tune,
And dance together ‘neath the moon,
As though no time had passed at all,
And we were never meant to fall.
And though our memories may fade,
Our souls remain forever swayed,
By the magnetic pull of love,
That flows between us, like a dove,
Our souls connected, evermore,
In a love that can’t be ignored.
And though we may not always know,
The reason why our love does grow,
We trust the mystery of the soul,
That guides us towards our ultimate goal,
To love and be loved in return,
In a fire that forever burns.
For my soul chose yours long ago,
And it will always be, and forever know,
That in every life and every time,
My soul chose yours, yours chose mine,
And a love that cannot be forgot,
Is the love that forever will be sought.
Through lifetimes, our souls have roamed,
Searching for the one we’ve known,
The one who feels like coming home,
The one we’ve loved, but not yet shown,
And in each life, we find a part,
Of the love that resides in our heart.
We walk through fields of love and loss,
And though we stumble, we never cross,
The line that separates us from,
The one we’ve searched for since time begun,
For deep within our soul, we feel,
The presence of a love that’s real.
Our hearts beat in a rhythmic flow,
And we can feel the love aglow,
As it moves through every part,
Of our being, like a work of art,
And though we may forget our past,
Our souls remember love that lasts.
For my soul chose yours, and yours chose mine,
And in each lifetime, we will find,
A piece of the love we’ve always known,
A love that’s grown and never flown,
For in the depths of our soul’s core,
We find a love that forevermore,
Will guide us on this journey through life,
Through love and laughter, joy and strife,
For the love that our souls have chosen,
Is a love that cannot be frozen,
In time or space, it will endure,
A love that’s pure, forevermore.
So let us cherish this love we’ve found,
This love that’s always been around,
Let us hold it close and never let go,
For in our souls, it will always flow,
A love that’s deep and ever so true,
My soul chose yours, and yours chose mine too.
