The flower: HEART

Tanishqa 2008 (Udaipur, Rajasthan)

I can find myself,
In the heart's corner;
A place meant just for me,
Where I'm the feelings gatherer.

Collecting love and care,
Except these, I don't care;
To borrow or lend, how dare?
And I'm smiling, nowhere!

I'm just teasing myself,
Extracting the nectar from the flower;
Where the flower is the heart,
And dancing in the colour shower.

I'm drifting myself,
I'm very light and tranquil.
I'm nudging the sweetness,
And still stolidly sitting quit .

This nectar is mocking me!
That this heart is so exquisite,
And listening to it,
Shuffling down to it, for a visit.

I'm rambling in the heart,
Desperately sitting with full hope;
I'll never move out of it,
Instead sit here in, and just moan.
