Dysfunctional Thinking

Dysfunctional thinking is in my brain. My dysfunctional thinking always brings me pain. Let me tell you why this is so. I've always believed that love can conquer all obstacles. No matter what might come, love can overcome. We will sometimes say or do the wrong thing, but if you have a connection that allows you to have open, honest communication without fear of judgment, love will overcome it. My dysfunctional thinking seems to always get the best of me time and again. I believe in love and what I've found to be true, so far in this life, is that I'm the only one who seems to think like this. We carry with us an underlying feeling that we can't trust anyone and we can never truly forgive. I believe love is worth working for, and my dysfunctional thinking will get the best of me again. I only hope that someday my dysfunctional thinking will be the best of me.
