Isolated in Self Defeat
Michael W. Evans 1970 (US)
Feeling trapped in my mind of self-defeat. I can see the light but I can't find it. Maybe this is my comfortable place. The place where I hide my memories, unremembered. It's cold and lonely. Isolated from myself, or am I. Why do I go there? It's a place filled full of turmoil and grief. I'm that little boy, scared and confused. Why, have I been hurt? Not that I remember.
I want out, sometimes I think at any cost.
