-The Scar's Enchanted-

Enchanted she the girl with scars upon her face,
Restless though her soul might be, she still the light will chase.

Her eyes tell far more than her mouth could ever say,
she sees things for how they truly are and still she heads the day.

No soul, no rhyme or reason, can change the girl for worse.
She knows too much about the world to believe in such a curse.

Still she walks with heart, and a light upon her chest
A target seen as some, but a warrior to the rest.

With her shield down by her hip, this girl she walks along,
knowing it may invite more pain but feels to hide is wrong.

This girl she is enchanted, like a corpse back from the grave.
She's weathered the weather, war and famine, and still feels as though she's not brave.

So why does this girl enchanted walk with such a heavy heart?
The dichotomy of her eternity continues to tear her apart.

To live is to die and to die is a waste of such a chance to live.
To feel something worth feeling, to get what she only yearns to give.

This girl-she is enchanted, yes, but at what cost greatly met?
The scars you see upon her face are not her only debt.

She's faced consequences of her actions, and received actions unjustly served.
She's received consequences of the actions of others unobserved.

She's faced monsters and ghouls and those of unholy rest,
She's shattered glass and suffered shards embedded deep into her chest.

She's felt the grip of mortality and the aching fever of death itself.
She's broken hardened chains that tried in vain to bind her to herself.

She's felt the sting of mocking whispers sung by shadows baring teeth.
She's endured the venom of snakes who aimed to bury her deep beneath.

War itself may not the answer be but within war can be found.
Her precognizant intelligence earned from those who had her bound.

Enchanted she the girl- who feels not enchanted be.
Seen only true by those who dawn the same scars such as she.

Warrior recognizes warriors and warriors recognize pain.
Alike and like- to like and love, forever truly gain.

Wow, what a beautiful and powerful poem! Your use of language and imagery is truly enchanting. The message of resilience and perseverance in the face of hardship is both inspiring and uplifting, leaving the reader feeling empowered and encouraged to face their own struggles.

One potential suggestion for improvement would be to perhaps consider breaking up some of the longer stanzas, as at times it can be a bit overwhelming for the reader to take in all the imagery and emotion at once. However, this is a minor critique and overall, your poem is truly wonderful.

Thank you for sharing this piece of art with the world! Keep writing and sharing your beautiful words with others.
