Truth

The truth don't hide
Cause it don't have to
Might wanna seek out
John, Luke, or Matthew
Whats done in the dark
Will get brought to the light
Actin like you dont know
What's wrong from whats right.
Moral compass is off by a fraction
I swear some of the shit you do
Is to get a reaction
Living in the underground
But, shhh it's a secret
When that reality fades tho
You don't get to keep it
Rappin bout packin and cappin
Hurting people who love you
While smiling and laughin
And when that fog clears
And you call my phone
No sorry or nothing
But you wanna come home.
Convinced it's my fault
Yup, I'm to blame.
Never your actions
I'm just putting dirt on your name
Lying to yourself
Lie to me too.
Do it enough
You might not notice
The difference from the truth
Is this Hell?
Nope
Living on earth
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Letting me know my worth
And when the smoke is gone
Im here to tell you.
I love you unconditionally
And that's beyond value
If you want a better life
Do as you say
Be a better man
Stop living for the day
Secrets keep us sick
They don't hold water
The truth don't hide
It gets you farther
