Free verse
This is the day
The day you take
The day i fray
The day i wake

This day i'm not lost
You took me under your wing
Under your wing you taught
when i look now its spring

You taught me to love
you showed me light
And i saw the dove above
Then we took flight

About this poem

This is the beginning of the healing process where someone sees the light and they blossom like spring.
