The Other Sibling

Prettier face and athletic,
so nice and kind,
nearly perfect, minus several flaws, just sublime.
Knows how to write poems and songs,
Play sports and sing, the other sibling wishes she could do those things.
Although older and sadder,
Lazy and dumb, the other sibling knows she’s a lost cause.
Popular and friendly,
Funny and tries, knows how to put on a good show, and barely cries.
The other sibling gives up and runs away, full of doubts wasting away.
List of boyfriends and people surrounding her, with fun and mystery, filled with glee.
Except the other sibling washes away alone, coming up with excuses for why she withers away in her dark room.
