Sending My Love

This is something I feel the need to do
because my heart still aches over you.

I want to send my lost babies love today
Why not through a poem, there's no better way

First, for my maternal baby, never did we meet
I send you my love, my warmth and the sound of my heartbeat.

Carried especially to you on gentle wings
For you little one, this is what my heart and soul brings.

Secondly, for my little furry feline friend
The pain of your loss, will it ever end?

You see, my little adorable Tuff Tuff
So little, so squeaky, so cute and all that stuff,

You pounced into my life and filled my empty heart
I knew that you were a keeper right from the start

There was something extra special about you
When you disappeared, I didn't know what to do.

It's been many years and yet I have many thoughts
