But then I saw your smile.
Saw traces of our bittersweet memories
I was your favorite song back then.

I was a story that you read‚ repeatedly,
And you were the poem that I love.
You are my strength and weakness‚
My inspiration‚ my model and my main character.

You set my heart on fire.
Our love has given me so many stories to tell.
But one day you’ve changed‚
To a whole different genre that I’ve never tried

A genre that I do not hate nor like
A poem that I cannot understand‚
How could you easily end our story?
Why does everything for you, seems so easy?


Hearing you strumming your guitar,
brings me back to the present.
Seeing you singing our fav song to her,
breaks my heart‚
I smiled and wiped my own tears.
Maybe I’m just a supporting character in your story.

You were once my savior‚
Yet you’re my villain now.
