I had a love

Catherine Sara Mammen 2010 (Sharjah)

I had a love
He always liked doves
He was out of  his mind
But deep inside he was kind
He was a sight to see
But he would always sting like a bee
Even though he was alone
He would always buy an ice cream cone
For one reason he would fight
That was for others to see the light
So even if he hits with all his might
It is always for the right
We met in summer
And then he became my lover
He is my love
And I am his dove
Even in darkest times his money he would lend
So together we will always fight to the end.
