GOODBYE ANIMOSITY

                        GOODBYE ANIMOSITY

Why is so much cruelty against the human race wrought by the human race?
Why do people kill others and men rape women and children?
Why do we, clad with politics, force armies to go to war?
Aren’t armies constructions of men, human beings?
So, in the end, it’s men killing men, humans against humans.
Why allow the poor to die of hunger?
Why force a man to roam about without a place to rest or lay his head?
Why destroy ourselves? Do we not belong to man, to the human race?
Then, why do we disgrace ourselves?
Let us stop all conflicts, violence, and wars
Feed the hungry
Quench the thirst of the needy:
Clothe the naked
Give shoes to the barefooted
Cure the sick
Make the lame walk, and give peace and happiness to all.
