Feast

The hearts in the clouds
In sight but out of grasp,

From new moon to full I stare wanting you to be closer; be within my touch, my warmth

My blue aura complex and corrupt without your guidance; sheep without its farmer

Hearts in the sky I need you; need you like a rose with its thorns, a bee with its stinger

My nights are long without your presence and I need your lullaby to put me to rest

You’re a predator looking for fresh meat; something to bring you more satisfaction

Am i not good enough? Was my taste too bitter?

Maybe being rotten is better than being yours
