CELL MENTALITY

Charles J. Carter 1990 (Texarkana)

I'm contemplating on my situation...
As I'm patiently  waiting...
On freedom as I pace my cell....
Others running away from being falsly accused, I guess I'm now in that race as well...
The earth of my star betrayed me...
My daughter doesn't know the facts so her thoughts are my daddy betrayed me...
Handcuffs on my wrist feels like the devil slayed me...
I had a dream last night that my demons bathed me..
In my blood...
Why does it seems that they want to delete my blood...
I guess it's because...
I'm a man of power...
And every hour...
On the hour....
It's like I'm walking a thin line between my courage and them cowards...
But wat if my life is playing backwards...
And in the court room I'm going to be rebirth...
I'm the reason many people can say "we worth!"...
Much more....
In my life I need much more..
Than quite a bit....
Have you ever wondered why you might exist...
Real, which stands from REMEMVERING. EVERYBODY. AINT. LOYAL.....
I'm not the here just to rot, my brain will never go spoil...
What do you see when look at your reflection..
It's called trial and error because needed is correction...
But, what if I told you that my every protection..
Needed no corrections....
And.......
My presence caused their expression..
To show impression..
On their face and through their message...
Hopefully yall can understand my message..
And overlook my aggression..
Analyzing is my profession...
And this my confession..
Everybody I encountered is a blessing...
And I'm done stressing...
Over guessing..
Whose for me...
God when I dead and gone I ask that the world mourns me....
