Black Man in 2020

The most immaculate species god has given to this earth.
No wonder the white man wants to demise your worth
He could never bare the pain that his antecedents has inflicted on you.
Coerce you with their lies, had you believe they were true
Society breaking you down
So they can feel tall
I’m here with you BLACK MAN
Let’s tear down this wall
Take back what’s yours
either peacefully or by forced
I know you fed up so it leave us no choice
Striped away from your family
They are left unprotected
While your counterparts(Black Queens),
Are left feeling neglected
I know you feel like you were born to lose
While the blue eyed devil walk around smiling
Yet couldn’t walk a mile in your shoes
We see you BLACK MAN don’t give up now
They took more from you than what
The law should have allowed
Black man, you are going make it some how
Your time to act , your time to heal is now
We love you black man

About this poem

I wrote this poem as a release to what was going on in society at the time. George Floyd being murdered, protest everywhere. It was a lot to take. This was my raw and direct release of my feelings as a black woman
