The Last Act of the Show

The time is up
This day is done
The show is over
The songs are sung
Its way to late
To show my hate
Look at the face
Of what you’ve become
F*ck all these people
Who say they’re friends
Lovers and family
They all pretend
They’ll all just disappear
Leaving you in tears
Pain is the only thing I know
Though I’m numb, head to toe
Time to move on, time to go
This is the last act of the show
My love for you will always flow
But pain is what I feel inside
Because its over, I let it die
So I push the love down deep
Eternity of pain is what I reap
It’s safer than hurt and anger
Pain will make me remember
What I lost, no what I threw away
I’ll never get over what it did to me until my dying day
It’s too late to take back the words we say
Yours hurt worse than being shot all day
Believe me about that
Believe what I’ve got to say
I took a shot to the brain
I heard the things you say
I’m here and probably shouldn’t be
I was spared my life and don’t know why
I wonder if I’m alive or dead
I guess that means that I win
I don’t know if it’s a good thing because everything I’m doing is going to catch up with me
Some days, I wonder, if I’m already dead and in some hell in my head
Everything’s changed and gone away
Forced to relive the pain day after day
