Mirage

Do you see
the light?
A fire,
burning
in the thick night?
Through the
fog,
something bright?
Will you follow it?
If so, what light are you?
A a light filled
with a mire?
A mire of mistakes.
What one are you following,
a mirage?
A fake light there-
then it abandons
you.
Or do you follow the
One?
The One true light,
the light of hope
and salvation.
The One who
made creation.
The One true God
true hope and light!
Who you can trust
and He will
lead you home.
Safe in in His warmth
and light.
