The Echo

From my deepest hollow, I bellow
The words I love you
Let the echo rattle and rumble off the rock
Let them crease and crack the crunched walls
Shatter...
Into an infinite amount of pieces that drift
Float on the reverb
Find their way out into the light.
Pieces of proclaimed passion
Dazzling and dipping in the glint
Sunlight slipping across their beautiful wings
Flutter and flicker through the air
Finding a home inside you
As you feel the jitter and flibbit
These feral and fearless words
Ponder the yearning ... the longing...
Burning desire I have for you.
Harness and care for these winged words
From the depth of my soul to yours.
