Sorry!

I am sorry
what for?
For everything I have done
My fault
My Fault
My grievous fault

I am sorry
what for?
Sorry for being late
Sorry for being lazy
Sorry for being silly
Sorry for being rude
Sorry for being angry
Sorry for being selfish
Sorry for being indecent
Sorry for being impolite
Sorry for being envious
Sorry for being ignoring
Sorry for being sorry

Sorry seems to be the hardest word
what for?
Sorry for being myself
Life goes on as it is Sorry for the way I am......

Dunstan S Thomas

I wrote my first poem in 1988 and it was published in the Seminary Quarter Journal named Aloysian Herald. I had many poems and sonnets published afterwards in the same journal. It is one of my hobbies to write when I have nothing to occupy my free time. I have submitted poems for The Poetry Society Annual Competition, even though I did not win a prize yet, my confidence in the publishing sector increased gradually, hence I wanted to pursue a career in publishing rights as I have good experience and knowledge in information law and rights with the UK Legislation. I am well versed in Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA), The Environment Regulations Act 2004 (EIR) and Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). I have over ten years of experience as an Information Governance Professional with Local and Central Government and the NHS since 2005 to date. I am now an asylum seeker with humanitarian protection by the state of the UK. I am writing Free Verse Poems every now and then to pass my free time and enjoy life while being inspirational and reflective to the grace of God above, our guardian shepherd. more…
