The Way to Meditate

Free verse
Just imagine, God is seated
before you.
Look at His eyes
like the trees scatter their leaves
Toward the sky,
and close your eyes entirely
in such a way
that you are still seeing Him,
gather all your conscious and
subconscious wishes
and put them into His eyes,
lose yourself in deep meditation
And you'll feel a kind of
Spiritual Power within your body
as the glass can produce the fire
when the rays of the sun lie together on it.

Ujjal Mandal

Ujjal Mandal is an Indian poet and a connoisseur of literature. He was born in 1995 at Ganguria, Malda, West Bengal. He completed his M.A in English from the University of Gour Banga. He has TEN (10) books to his credit. He says, ‘Poetry is the manifestation of divine power creating by the combination of mind and heart’.
