My Love

If I could love, but for a thousand days more,
I would spend them all on you.
If I could see but for a hundred days more,
I would hold you in my sight day and night.
If I could feel touch, but for ten days more,
I would lay in your arms through them all.
If I could hear, but for one day more,
I would use it to know the beats of your heart.
If I could smell, but one hour more,
I would use it to store your scent in mind
If I could taste, but for one minute more,
I would taste your lips in an unending
Kiss.
If I could remember, but for one second
more,
I would etch my mind with your love.
