BEAUTY

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Where has the beauty gone? Why do I no longer hear the silent song being sung? Days, weeks, months, and years have passed, and there are more questions than answers, lies than truths. Does everything grow from the branches or the roots?

I sit here feeling some pain without any compassion and ask myself what reality is and whether we hold any moments in the hands of time. We all are space travelers here and do not even know it. Excuse me. This is a test from your local brainwashing system.

Cut the strings and silence the voices that tell you that you can not find beauty within yourself, for you need to wear the masks and robes of everyone else but yourself.

The beauty there is so much beauty inside the ugliest of things. You need to know how to through away the book, open up your mind and look and make sure that your heart is not blind, for that is where, unlike others, beauty takes its rest inside of our dreams. We see the hope and the reality inside our beauty
