Sad Plight

Those pages of intense affection
Compiled into my compassion,
Immersed…with sad plight, as you…
Entered just to say the aching goodbye.

I’ve gone through the valley of confusion
Amidst those teardrops, fall so blue.
That menial carriage brought all curse,
Mean to deaden my extant imagination.

Those pages would never be marked anymore
With the light and volume of incitement,
But, I would rather drop that “FIRST DRAW”,
With “LAST LEAF” as the means of valediction.

About this poem

It was my dream to be your first and your last, but I was "NEITHER".
