TEARDROPS ARE PRAYERS TOO!

I awoke to God's beautiful sunrise,
A large teardrop fell from my eyes;
"Thank you, dear As Jesus," it said, "for one more day," "Thank you for your blessings sent our way."

As the beauty of the sun's rays slowly danced by,
I looked to heaven,
still more tears filled my eyes;
"Heavenly Father, my heart is heavy, and I pray to thee."
"Come, my child, bring those tears to me."

"This tear is for the lonely and homeless of our land,
This tear is for the fighting on every hand;
We sinned, Lord Jesus, and evil is all around,
Hear my teardrops Father, and lift us off the ground.
This teardrop is for innocent lives taken,
This teardrop for our many hearts that are aching;
Send your love and peace from on high,
Please Lord Jesus, wipe our weeping eyes."

As each tear fell, he caught each drop in his hand,
"Hush little one, I hear my children's cries upon the land;
I will not leave you, nor forsake those who love me,
For through each teardrop, you can see me."
