Tough Life

Tough Life
By: Maciel Munoz Familia

I got a headache from the voice of a thousand echos
One love letter written from a prison
With a thousand sectors.
I have a scare in my soul from build up emotions
Red prints on a t shirt
From the blood
Of a billion scares
Two stacks of hundred dolla bills
 And a pack of cigars
I have four fingers
Cause the other onse broken
A flat screen TV that I talk too
When I'm feeling lonely
I have no shame to say that I ain't a hood girl
But without much reflecting
I can easily tell you that I'm the  type that you should know
I can't talk for my siblings,
 they can talk for themselves
It's the way that I live
And is the way that life goes

About this poem

Tough Life is a poem I created based on my life and the tragedies we all can face on a day to day basis. Tough life is a sad poem to me because it reflects on a person's misery which is due to the cost of poor decisions or a poor living situation. I think we can all compare to Tough life thank you for the opportunity to allow me to share this poem and I hope you enjoy it.
