Rumbling earth Crumbling dreams
With a crumble
A roaring rumble
There goes a thousand houses
To survive we must run faster than mouses
Dashing through the streets
Tiring our feet
Here we go another crumble
With an echoing rumble
Screams
Crushing dreams
Children scrambling for their mother
Mothers scrambling to find their children’s father
Yet another crumble
However, this time a silent rumble
It wasn’t a house
This time we didn’t run faster than a mouse
It wasn’t a tower
For the sound tasted far too sour
It was our hope crumbling
And our screams did the rumbling
Now what can we say
Our homes are beginning to fade
With a crumble
And a rumble
We lose our family
And we witness fatality
With a crumble
And a rumble
But this isn’t the time we watch and cry
This is the time when no matter what, with all our might we shall try
Holding hands with pride
Not letting fate take us for a ride
No matter how small
Or how tall
From now on we are equals
And we will be in unison for the next sequel.
