Oh clouds

N.C.Rangarajan 1994 (Kanchipuram)

*Oh clouds*
From my child hood I am watching you.
Not a day will pass without my seeing you.
I am never tired of seeing you
Somedays on a plain blue large canopy you used to hide like a tiny piece of cotton.
Somedays  you are there all over like cotton stored in spinning mill
You appear shapeless
Suddenly you show a lot of images
Animals humans gods all will appear floatingly.
Once I was on a mountain you came to hand reach
And still I could not catch
You come in different shades
On day of lightening and thunder you look devastating.
Pouring and not showering is both your choice.
Yet another day I may not be there. Still you will be.
You are an age old bondage
Every one builds castle in clouds.
Oh cloud you are my friend
I would shout loud
Will you ever listen

About this poem
